Ola BOSS of All Savings: Ola Electric on Thursday, November 7, announced the ‘BOSS of All Savings’ initiative as part of its ongoing Biggest Ola Season Sale (BOSS) campaign. The announcement comes on the back of a strong festive season, which saw impressive growth in EV 2W registrations, led by Ola Electric.
As part of the ‘BOSS of All Savings’ promotion, Ola Electric is offering savings of up to Rs 15,000 on the purchase of the popular Ola S1. The savings extend beyond the initial purchase, with customers benefiting from up to Rs 30,000 annually through lower running and maintenance costs compared to traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
For example, with the flagship Ola S1 X (2kWh), customers who commute 30 km daily could save up to Rs 31,000 annually, enabling them to recover the vehicle’s cost within just a few years of ownership.
"To further drive EV adoption, the company plans Educational Clinics at Ola Electric Stores across the country," according to the official release. These clinics are designed to "educate customers on the lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and superior performance and best-in-class technology features that the Ola S1 portfolio has on offer as compared to ICE vehicles."
October 2024 marked a milestone for Ola Electric, with the company selling over 50,000 units and registering 41,605 units (according to Vahan data), consolidating its leadership position in India’s EV 2W segment. Ola Electric now holds a market share of 30 per cent and has reported a 74 per cent year-on-year growth, as per the release.
The company offers a wide range of S1 models, with prices starting from Rs 74,999 for the S1 X portfolio. The more premium models, including the S1 Pro and S1 Air, are priced at Rs 1,34,999 and Rs 1,07,499, respectively.
Looking ahead, Ola Electric is expanding its service network as part of the #HyperService campaign, aiming to double its service centres to 1,000 by December 2024. The company also plans to expand its network to 10,000 centres by the end of 2025, along with training 1 lakh third-party mechanics to make India’s workforce EV-ready, said the official release.
