They are considered apex predators and don't take it very kindly when someone tries to steal their food.

This is what happened when a crane tried to outsmart an eagle in a zoo. The video of the incident has gone viral where a crane is seen taking an eagle's food. In the trending video, the crane is trying to steal eagle's food. Apparently, the crane makes an attempt to get away with the eagle's food. Stymying the crane's intent, the eagle very cleverly drops the food near the cage edge, giving a false sense of hope to crane that it has some chance of grabbing it.

Clearly, crane falls for the trick and makes an attempt, but the eagle was very much ready with its counter-measure. As soon as crane makes this attempt, one that could even have cost him his life, the eagle took him by surprise and grabbed its beak with his claws and started pulling it towards itself. However, when it appeared all was over for the crane, it manages to break free and dash away from the cage.
Next time, this crane is hungry, it will think of anything else but attempting to steal an eagle's food.
