Olympics India Schedule Today: Today has been a great day to start with for India at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Neeraj Chopra has qualified for the finals of Men's javelin throw event. So far, India has won two medals at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, Mirabai Chanu bagged the silver medal in weightlifting and PV Sindhu won the bronze medal in women's badminton singles. Later today, India's women's hockey team will take on Argentina in the semi-finals. Having defeated Australia in the quarter finals, the women's hockey team in high on morale. Lovlina Borgohain has already confirmed a medal, today, the semi-final match will decide the colour of the medal.

5.35 AM - Athletics: Men's Javelin Throw - Neeraj Chopra
                Qualification - Group A

Result - Neeraj Chopra qualifies for the final of the Men's javelin throw event with his first attempt of 86.65m.                                                          

5.55 AM - Golf: Women's Round 1 - Aditi Ashok

7.05 AM - Athletics: Men's Javelin Throw - Shivpal Singh
                Qualification: Group B

Result - Shivpal Singh fails to make the cut for men's javelin throw final after his best finish lands at a distance of 76.40m

7.39 AM - Golf: Women's Round 1 - Diksha Dagar

8.00 AM onwards - Wrestling: Men's 57 kg free style - Ravi Dahiya
                                1/8 final and quarterfinal

Result - Ravi Dahiya has qualified for the quarter final. Dahiya defeats Georgi Valentinov of Bulgaria 14-4 to reach the semi final. 

8.00 AM onwards - Wrestling: Women's 57 kg free style - Anshu Malik
                               1/8 final and quarterfinal

Result - Anshu Malik loses to Iryna Kurachkin 8-2.

8.00 AM onwards - Wrestling: Men's 86 kg free style - Deepak Punia
                                1/8 final and quarterfinal

Result - Punia advances to quarter final by defeating Nigeria's Agiomor Ekerekeme 12-1. Punia wins against Lin Zushen of China 6-3 to reach the semifinal of Men’s freestyle 86 Kg. 

11.00 AM - Boxing: Women's 69 kg semi final 1 - Lovlina Borghohain

Result - Borghohain goes down to Turkey's Surmeneil Busenaz 0-5. However, she wins bronze in this 69 kg category. 

2.45 PM onwards - Wrestling: Men's 57 kg semi-final - Ravi Dahiya

Result - Ravi Dahiya advances to final and cofirms another medal for India. 

2.45 PM onwards - Wrestling: Women's 57 kg free style semi-final - Anshu Malik (subject to qualification)

Result - Punia goes down to USA's David Morris Taylor III. He will play for Bronze medal match tomorrow. 

3.30 PM - Hockey: Women's Semi-Final
                               India Vs Argentina

Result - Indian women's team lost 2-1 to Argentina despite putting up a huge fight. They will play the Bronze medal match on August 6 against Great Britain.
