Earthquake in Delhi Today: The dreadful sound and movement of an earthquake late at night sparked panic and left everyone shaken to the core in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and surrounding areas. The earthquake was not a small one. It measured as much as 4.2 magnitude on Richter scale and its epicentre was in Haryana. For a few seconds, the earthquake shook homes where people were sleeping or getting ready for bed. Panic spread quickly and many rushed outside despite the extreme cold. 

However, the Internet itself was left shaking when former Indian team cricketer Virender Sehwag, clearly affected by the earthquake, took to Twitter and posted his reaction. That was just what the doctor had ordered for netizens and everyone jumped on the bandwagon with their hilarious reactions. Read them all here:

Notably, this is not the first time Sehwag has rocked the Net. 4s and 6s have been raining from his fingers on Twitter ever since he first took to it - just like they did from his bat when he was playing cricket.

After the earthquake had struck on Thursday night, everyone feared that aftershocks will hit again and things may get worse and that is why they rushed outdoors.

The best thing to do during an earthquake is to rush outdoors to a safe place in the open.
