Drone footage has revealed the devastating impact of the Israeli bombing campaign on Gaza, with abandoned streets and stacks of rubble seen across large swaths of the enclave. Many buildings have been flattened or badly damaged, and fading grey smoke can still be seen rising from the rubble. Israel has launched by far the most powerful bombing campaign in the 75-year history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, destroying whole neighborhoods in retaliation to Hamas attacks over the weekend. The enclave, home to 2.3 million people, has been put under total siege.
