US Military veterans can now purchase discounted products from Apple' s dedicated online store

A dedicated online store with good discounts has been launched by Apple for the military veterans, personnel, and their immediate family members. Following the footsteps of several wireless carriers that came up with various offers and programmes for the active military and veterans, Apple came up with its latest offer. "At Apple we are deeply grateful to the men and women of our armed forces. We're proud to offer active military and veterans a new dedicated online store with special pricing as an expression of our gratitude for their brave service," reported CNET on Monday citing the company.

The iPhone maker is offering various discounts on its accessories, hardware, software, speakers along with products from third parties. According to a report by USA Today, earlier the active military and veterans were eligible for purchase of products in Apple stores for government employees. However, the stores only included selected products excluding some of the products that include iPhone and Apple Watch.

In order to buy products from online, they first have to agree on whether they are at least 18 years of age and above and are current members of US Military, National Guard or Reserve. These are some of the criteria that would prove the eligibility.
