With taking charge as UK PM, many eyeballs have turned over Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty's wealth, raising the curiosity within the people to know the couple’s combined wealth.  

Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty's Net Worth 

According to Reuters, “The couple entered The Sunday Times UK Rich List at number 222 with a reported net worth of 730 million pounds ($911.19 million), the Sunday Times newspaper said. The list's compilers say their analysis is based on minimum estimates of identifiable wealth." 

Akshata Murty, who is a daughter of Infosys’ founder Narayana Murty, has 3.89 crore shares or 0.93 per cent stakes in the Indian IT giant as of September-end quarter of 2022, according to company filings with the stock exchanges, a PTI report said. 

Akshata has earned Rs 126.61 crore (USD 15.3 million) in dividend income in 2022, from her shareholding in India's second-largest IT firm Infosys, the news agency reported. 

Married in 2009, the couple also own a vast real estate portfolio. They live in a 7 million townhouse in Kensington and has a mansion in Rishi's Yorkshire constituency as well as, a penthouse in California, according to IANS report.

-Born to a pharmacist mother and doctor father, the Conservative party politician was born in the UK's Southampton area, his grandparents hail from Punjab. 

-Sunak took oath as MP on the Bhagavad Gita in the Parliament in 2015 after he got elected from Richmond, Yorkshire. 

-In February 2020 he was designated as the Chancellor of the Exchequer under Boris Johnson's leadership. Sunak lit Diwali diyas at his residence on Downing Street. 

-Sunak crafted a massive financial rescue package to safeguard millions of jobs post Boris Johnson ordered the first nationwide lockdown owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
