Musk, chief of SpaceX and Tesla, who last week revealed a 9.2% stake in the social media giant, suggested that Twitter could convert its San Francisco HQ to a shelter "since no one shows up anyway."
"Convert Twitter SF HQ to the homeless shelter since no one shows up anyway," Elon Musk tweeted.
Bezos, who stepped down as CEO last year but remains chairman at Amazon, retweeted Musk's tweet with a link to GeekWire's coverage in 2020 of a homeless shelter attached to one of Amazon's downtown Seattle office buildings.

According to the report, Amazon's Seattle headquarters houses a homeless shelter on its eight-floor family building. The Mary's Place Family Center in The Regrade opened in early March 2020 and provides "shelter and support" for families experiencing homelessness. Amazon's shelter home can accommodate up to 200 people every night and provides food to those living there temporarily.
Jeff Bezos responded with a link to a report about a homeless shelter attached to an Amazon office building, noting that employees who wish to volunteer could make use of some of Twitter's space. Musk called the suggestion a "great idea."
Musk has already weighed in on the lack of an edit button as well as how little celebrities like Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift post on the social media network.
The poll created by Musk has received around 20 lakh votes within hours, and over 91 per cent of the users have responded with a 'Yes' on the ongoing poll.
