According to a PTI report, Minister Abdul Baki Haqqani outlined the new policies on Sunday, a few days before Afghanistan's new rulers announced the formation of a full-fledged Taliban government, which does not have a single female member.
The world is closely monitoring the fact that the Taliban, which first came to power in the late 1990s, can now work differently. At that time, girls and women were denied education and excluded from public life.
Zee Business reporter Ambarish Pandey reported that following the Taliban's occupation of Afghanistan, Qatar Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani today visited Afghanistan, met Afghan leaders and the Taliban government.
Pandey further reported that France has refused to recognise the Taliban government. The French Foreign Minister Jean-Yawes Lee Drian (Jean-Yves Le Drian) said on Saturday that France would have no relationship with its newly formed government (Taliban New Government). Drian said these things before leaving for Qatar, where evacuation of people from Afghanistan is about to be discussed.
The PR report further stated that the Taliban has said it has changed, including its attitude towards women.
