In a second such incidence in a month, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation's (IRCTC) online ticketing platform was briefly down on Thursday morning due to maintenance activity. However, the online ticket-booking platforms are back and working properly now.
On opening the IRCTC app, we could see a 'unable to perform action due to maintenance activity' error.

In an advisory, IRCTC suggested that travellers who wanted to cancel their tickets should do so by calling customer service or emailing their ticket information for a Ticket Deposit Receipt (TDR). IRCTC supplied the following contact information for cancellation assistance:
