Gold prices rose marginally this morning amid increasingly bad signals from the global market, but after a short time, the price of gold is seeing a decline again. At the same time, a big fall is being seen in the price of silver today. On the Multicommodity Exchange (MCX) this morning, the futures price of gold of carat purity opened at Rs 50,939 per 10 grams, but then after a while it rose by Rs 115 to reach below 50,800. Whereas there has been sharp fall in silver today. On MCX, silver slipped by Rs 351 to Rs 60,401 per kg today, while after a while it fell by more than Rs 600 to fall below Rs 60,200. Silver is at a 22-month low in the global market. Silver price on Comex is trading below $21.30.
