There has been pressure in the prices of gold and silver in the commodity market. Gold on Comex reached $1787.38 and Silver at $20.08. On the Multicommodity Exchange (MCX) today, the October futures price of 24 carat purity fell by Rs 89 to Rs 52,076 per 10 grams, while the futures of silver fell by Rs 140 to Rs 57,842 per kg.
