Union Budget 2024, FM Full Speech: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday (July 23, 2024) presented the Union Budget 2024 of the new government - Modi 3.0 - for a record consecutive seventh time. In the budget presented for the fiscal year FY24-25, the finance minister proposed several benefits; including agriculture and infrastructure. While she increased the standard deduction limit from Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000, she also introduced three new slabs under the new tax regime.
