IRCTC, DMRC and CRIS join hands for QR ticketing under `One India - One Ticket’ initiative; check details
Currently, Delhi Metro single journey tickets may only be ordered on the day of travel and are valid for the same day. With this feature, DMRC-IRCTC QR code-based tickets will be synced with Indian Railways' Advance Reservation Period (ARP), allowing customers to buy Metro tickets up to 120 days in advance. Furthermore, Metro tickets will be valid for a single journey for four days, beginning the day before the DMRC journey date, continuing through the travel day, and ending two days later.
This will enable main line railway passengers to book DMRC QR code tickets on IRCTC website and Android version of Mobile App. Image: Pixabay | Representational
