IPL 2024 tickets, price for MI's games: With the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) just a few days away, fans from their respective franchises eagerly await the start of ticket sales for the biggest cricket league in the world.

Despite this, there hasn't been any official announcement made by the IPL Committee or BCCI for the sale of tickets for IPL 2024. However, a couple of teams have started ticket sales for their home games on their official websites.

Out of these, Mumbai Indians (MI) have announced the start of the sale of tickets for their home matches at Wankhede Stadium for the general public starting today, March 13.

The five-time champions and, arguably, one of the most successful franchises in IPL history along Chennai Super Kings (CSK), started their phase-wise ticket sales on March 6, with the tickets available for the general public to purchase using Slice UPI, later opening sales for their gold, silver, junior, and blue members.

Now the franchise, on Wednesday, has opened ticket sales for the general public, and fans can go and grab their seats for all of Mumbai's home matches as per the schedule released till now.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians was involved in one of the biggest transfer sagas in the history of the IPL when Hardik Pandya was traded to MI just one day after he was retained by Gujarat Titans (GT) back in November 2023.  

MI also traded off Cameroon Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore to cover the price they were required to pay GT for Pandya. Pandya will also captain MI for the IPL 2024, sidelining their long-term skipper Rohit Sharma, under whom they won all of their five IPL trophies.

The IPL 2024 is set to start on March 22, with the opening clash to be played between last season's champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
