Telangana Sircilla Election Result 2023: Sircilla is one of the key seats in Telangana. Telangana Chief Minister KT Rama Rao's son and minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) is contesting from Sircilla. KTR is considered the successor of the BRS chief.

KTR won the seats in 2014 and 2018 and is looking to make a hat-trick. 

Sircilla is constituency number 29 of the Telangana Legislative Assembly. It is one of the Assembly seats of Telangana's Rajanna Sircilla district. It is one of the Assembly seats comprising the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency.

The polling for the 119-member Telangana concluded on Thursday and it was the last among five states that went to the polls this month.

According to the Election Commission (EC), Telangana recorded a 70.28 per cent voter turnout in the November 30 assembly elections. Voters exercised their franchise in 35,655 polling stations that were set up across the state. The majority mark in Telangana is 60.

Exit polls predicted that Congress is poised to form government in Telangana and that the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) would fall short of the majority after its 10-year rule in India's youngest state.
