Chhattisgarh Ambikapur Election Result 2023: The counting of votes for Sakti, one of the 90 seats in the Chhattisgarh Assembly, took place amid tight security on December 3.
Sakti Chhattisgarh Assembly election 2023: The Indian National Congress (INC) party's Charan Das Mahant won the Sakti seat in the 90-member Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly on Sunday, December 3. Mahant won with 81,519 votes, defeating Khilawan Sahu of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by 12,395 votes.
Sakti represents one of the total 90 seats in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. In the 2023 Chhattisgarh elections, a total of 14 candidates were in the fray in Sakti, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The fate of the candidates for the Sakti Assembly seat in the Chhattisgarh elections was decided by an estimated 2,14,046 voters, out of which 1,08,301 are male and 1,05,744 are female, according to the ECI website.
Other key candidates that contested the Sakti seat in the Chhattisgarh Assembly election included Anubhav Tiwari (Annu Bhaiya) of the Aam Aadmi Party.
