Odisha Lok Sabha Election Exit Poll Result: Surveys predict BJP dominance with 15-18 seats, BJD projected at 3-7, Congress at 1

Voting for six Lok Sabha constituencies and 42 assembly seats in Odisha concluded on Saturday, June 1, 2024, amidst stringent security measures. The polling for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 commenced at 7 am across Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, and Jajpur Lok Sabha seats. According to the Chanakya Poll, BJP is poised to secure 16 seats, while BJD is projected to claim 4 seats, and Congress may clinch 1 seat in the Odisha Parliamentary elections. The Jan Ki Baat polls indicate NDA likely to secure 362-392 seats, while I.N.D.I.A. may garner 141-161 seats at the Center.

Notable candidates in the assembly elections include Odisha assembly speaker Pramila Malik, Prashant Muduli, BJP Odisha unit head Manmohan Samal, and BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda. Naveen Patnaik from Biju Janata Dal serves as the Chief Minister of the state. Odisha holds a total of 21 Lok Sabha seats.

Exit polls, which survey voters to gauge election results and forecast winners, provide valuable insights into voter behavior, though their accuracy can vary. They offer a useful indication of electoral trends and potential outcomes.
