Chhattisgarh Ambikapur Election Result 2023: The counting of votes for Ambikapur, one of the 90 seats in the Chhattisgarh Assembly, took place amid tight security on December 3.
Chhattisgarh Ambikapur Election Result 2023: Deputy Chief Minister TS Singh Deo lost the Ambikapur Legislative Assembly seat to the Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajesh Agrawal. Deo polled 90,686 votes while Agrawal polled 90,780.
Ambikapur represents one of the total 90 seats in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. In the 2023 Chhattisgarh elections, a total of 13 candidates were in the fray in Ambikapur, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The fate of the candidates for the Ambikapur Assembly seat in the Chhattisgarh elections was decided by an estimated 2,56,454 voters, out of which 1,26,666 were male and 1,29,775 were female, according to the ECI website.
Other key candidates that were in the fray for the Ambikapur seat included Rajesh Agrawal of the BJP and TS Baba of the Congress.
