Hanuman Jayanti 2023: The Hanuman Jayanti is being celebrated today, April 6. The day marks the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman and is celebrated on the full moon day during the Chaitra month. According to Hindu mythology, Bhagwan Shri Hanumanji is the son of Vayu Deva i.e. the wind god and mata Anjana. Hanuman was born on Chaitra Purnima just after sunrise on Tuesday. He was born on Chitra Nakshatra and Mesha Lagna.  

Purnima tithi will start on April 5 around 09:19 am and end on April 6 around 10:04 am, according to the Drik Panchang (calendar). On the day of Hanuman Jayanti, devotees observe fast.

• Auspicious time - from 06.06 to 07.40 in the morning
• Char's Muhurta - from 10.49 am to 12.24 pm
• Abhijit Muhurta - from 11.59 am to 12.49 pm

• Evening time - from 05.07 to 06.41 in the evening
• Night time - from 06.42 to 08.07 in the evening
