About the movie-

Godfather is a Telugu-language political action-thriller film directed by Mohan Raja and produced by Ram Charan, R. B. Choudary and N. V. Prasad under their banners Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films. The film is a remake of 2019 Malayalam film Lucifer. It stars Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana.

Speaking to the media at an event ahead of Godfather’s release, Chiranjeevi revealed that many changes have been made in this project to make it pacier and lag-free. Chiranjeevi said that when Charan came to him with the suggestion of remaking it, he rewatched the film again and felt it was slow and dull in places.

“In Godfather, we have taken care of the slowness in Lucifer. I had certain issues with Lucifer that I didn’t like and our team has addressed that. I usually don’t speak much of my movies before it releases but the audience will certainly enjoy it and will shower it with love”, said the Megastar.

The film has been sprinkled with additional commercial elements and fights and Salman Khan is playing an extended cameo in this project. Prithviraj Sukumaran played a brief role in the original and that role has been extended in this film for Salman to add the mass element.

IMDB rating shows that the film is liked by 84% and has rated the movie 7.1 out of 10. On Google too people have given a positive review for the film. On BookMyShow 94 per cent people have liked the movie. So far, the movie is receiving praise and love from the audience. The movie is screened in all the cinema houses in two languages Telugu and Hindi.
