Dunki box office collection on Day 5: Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie's box office collection jumps to Rs 128 crore

Dunki box office collection: Dunki maintained its stronghold at the domestic box office on the 5th day of its release as the movie logged in strong numbers on its first Monday (December 25, 2023).
Dunki made Rs 29.20 crore on its opening day, Rs 20.12 crore on its second day, Rs 25.61 crore on its third day, Rs 30.70 crore on its fourth day, and on Day 5, the movie made around Rs 22.50 crore. With this, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film has raked in Rs 128.13 crore in Indian box office collection as of Monday, according to film trade portal Sacnilk.
Shah Rukh Khan's latest film has an overall 49.67 per cent occupancy across its Hindi shows. Regions that have contributed to the film's occupancy are Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chandigarh, the National Capital Region (NCR), Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Bengaluru and Lucknow, as per Sacnilk.
Dunki is a comedy-drama based on the illegal immigration technique 'donkey flight'. Apart from Shah Rukh and Taapsee, the film also stars Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. Based on friendships, borders, nostalgia for home and love, Dunki is directed from a script Rajkumar co-wrote with Abhijaat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon. The film marks Shah Rukh's third and last release of 2023, following back-to-back action blockbusters in Pathaan and Jawan.
