The Portuguese captain on Thursday went past Argentina's Lionel Messi to bag his seventh FIFA World Cup Man of the Match award -the most by any player. The Portuguese captain has appeared in every edition of FIFA World Cup, since his debut in 2006. He is the only player ever to score in five World Cups. According to the reports, CR7 now needs one more goal at the Qatar World Cup 2022 to equal the legendary Eusebio, who has nine World Cup goals.
