FIFA World Cup 2022 Prize Money: Several Argentina supporters came out on streets around the world and erupted in joy after the South American country won the FIFA World Cup 2022 final.

After 36 long years, Argentina finally won the World Cup title as it beat France 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw on Sunday. Lionel Messi scored two goals and then another in the penalty shootout to claim Argentina's third World Cup title.

FIFA World cup teams that reached the Quarter finals earned $17 million each. Teams that managed to reach round 16 received $13 million in prize money. Similarly, Croatia and Morocco, also got the prize money of $27 million and $25 million, respectively.

Argentina won the FIFA World Cup 2022 championship on Sunday and will get a $42 million cash reward. The runner-up squad, France, will receive $30 million in prize money.

Of course, the prize money is given out in addition to the players' pay.
