Salman Khan-starrer 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' earns over Rs 15 crore on Day 1: Check his last 5 Eid releases and their collections
Salman Khan's family drama film 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' has raised Rs 15.81 crore on its opening day on Friday. The Farhad Samji directorial, which hit the theatres ahead of Eid, is Salman's first big screen release in a leading role in four years. 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' marks the superstar's return to his tried-and-tested formula of releasing films on Eid — a day that has marked the release of some of his blockbuster films in the past.
Films like 'Wanted', 'Dabangg' and 'Sultan' were released on the occasion of Eid and raked millions with the superstar's young, ardent fans even willing to spend their entire 'eidi' (pocket-money received from elders on the occasion of Eid) on buying tickets for his films.

Radhe (2021)
The story revolves around the life of an undercover police officer, Radhe, who was appointed to arrest a drug peddler in Mumbai who even involved school students in the racket. Although, the movie failed to make an impact on the box office and received negative reviews from the critics but the movie became a huge OTT success. With 4.2 million views, it became the most watched OTT film on the day of release. The film grossed over Rs. 18.33 crore.

Bharat (2019)
The story is about a seventy-year old shopkeeper in Delhi, who migrated to India during the partition in 1947. The story captures his journey as he migrated and how he faced challenges thereafter and overcame them. This movie was one of the highest grossing film in 2019. The story had a worldwide gross collection of more than Rs 308.7 crores.

Race 3 (2018)
The film captures the life of a son of an arms and weapons dealer in Abu Dabi. This is the third film in the series of Race, directed by Abbas-Mustan. Although, the movie received mostly negative reviews, primarily for its script, plot, casting, music and action sequences, however, it has a successful box office collection and made more than Rs 305 crore.

Set on the backdrop of Indo-China war in 1962, the film tells the story of Laxman Singh Bisht, who is a mentally challenged individual, who has none other than his brother in his family. Although the film received negative reviews from critics, but it still managed to make a collection of Rs 207 crore worldwide.

This sports drama movie is about the life of Sultan Ali Khan, a middle-aged local wrestler and ex-wrestling champion from Haryana and how his love life went through several ups and downs as he focussed on the sports. It received positive reviews from critics and earned over Rs 623 crore.
