Wholesale Inflation News: Wholesale inflation, measured by the Wholesale Price Index (WPI), worsened to 1.84 per cent in September from 1.31 per cent the previous month amid a spike in food prices, showed official data released at noon on Monday. Separate data on retail inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was due at 5:30 pm the same day.
