Tata Communications will build AI cloud platform in India by using NVIDIA's GH200 AI chip. TCS and Infosys have partnerships with the US chip giant for AI training of employees. Rashi Peripherals is the primary importer and distributor of NVIDIA's RTX cards in India, and Netweb Tech is in agreement with the chip firm to build GPU servers in India.

Shares of Tata Communications dipped slightly on Friday after investors booked profits following the company's fastest quarterly revenue growth in nine years. The stock initially fell 1.3% but later found footing to close 6% higher on Jan 18 after the earnings announcement. On Jan 19, it opened lower again and was trading at Rs 1,746.20.
Hundreds of farmers from Uttar Pradesh continued their protest at the Noida Authority Office on January 18, demanding compensation and jobs in exchange for land acquired by the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) in the 1980s. The ongoing protest, now exceeding a month, saw strong police presence ensuring order.
