Tata Communications stock rises over 1.85% on its Investors Day

Tata Communications Share Price: Tata Communications jumped in morning trade on BSE on Wednesday (June 12, 2024) as the telecom firm is having its Investors Day 2024 today.

Tata Communications shares that closed at Rs 1,879.15 each rose by 1.85 per cent to jump to Wednesday's high of Rs 1,913.90 apeice.

The stock of the telecom company was trading higher by 1.58 per cent, or Rs 29.60, at Rs 1,908.75 at 10:33 am on Wednesday.

What is Tata Communications?

Tata Communications Limited, previously known as Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited, is a telecommunications company owned by Tata group.

Before its acquisition by Tata Group, it was a government-owned telecommunications service provider under the ownership of Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications.

It was acquired by Tata group in 2023.
