PAN-Aadhaar Link: Today is the last day to link PAN with Aadhaar by paying less penalty fee. After June 30, individuals will have to pay a double fine of Rs 1000 for linking PAN-Aadhaar. If you are among those who haven't linked his/her PAN card with Aadhaar card yet, be prepared to pay double penalty from July 1, 2022, or link both today by paying a fine of Rs 500 only.

"A person cannot hold more than one PAN. If a PAN is allotted to a person, then he cannot apply for obtaining another PAN. A penalty of Rs. 10,000/- is liable to be imposed under Section 272B of the Income-tax Act, 1961 for having more than one PAN.
