Supertech's Apex and Ceyane towers - taller than Delhi's iconic Qutub Minar, are slated to be demolished in pursuance of a Supreme Court order that found their construction within Emerald Court premises in violation of the norms.
DCP Rajesh S said around 5,000 residents of Emerald Court and ATS Village -- the two societies in close proximity of the twin towers -- will be evacuated on Sunday by 7 am.
The nearly 100-metre-tall Apex and Ceyane towers -taller than Delhi's iconic Qutub Minar--are scheduled to be demolished at 2.30 pm on August 28.

LIVE UPDATES: Supertech Noida Twin Towers Demolition: The charging process - placing of explosives - was completed on Monday evening and the next procedure, known as trunking, started on Tuesday. A total of 40 people, including blasters and trained workers, had started charging the Ceyane (29 storeys) and Apex (32 storeys) towers together on August 13, according to an official of Edifice Engineering, the firm hired to demolish the twin towers.
