Stocks To Track Today: Domestic equity benchmarks Nifty and Sensex ended 0.9 per cent higher on Thursday amid a broad-based upmove led by financial, IT and FMCG stocks. The Sensex added 676.7 points to settle at 73,663.7 while the Nifty50 climbed to 22,403.9, up 203.3 points for the day.

Stock Markets HIGHLIGHTS: Indian frontline indices S&P BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 extended their losses on Friday as the session progressed after begging on a positive note. While Sensex tumbled nearly 389.01 points or 0.62 per cent and closed at 62,181.67, Nifty50 settled down 112 points or 0.61 per cent at 18,496.60. Bank Nifty finished at 43,633.45, up 36.60 points or 0.08 per cent.

The Indian equity benchmark Sensex declined over 215 points on Wednesday, weighed by losses in index heavyweight Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finserv, and Tata Steel after the Reserve Bank raised the key interest rate by 35 basis points.
Barring Nifty PSU Bank (+0.26%) and Nifty FMCG (+0.96%), all Nifty sectoral indices closed in the red. The worst performers were Nifty Media (-1.45%), Nifty Metal (-0.88%) and Nifty Consumer Durables (-1.06%)

According to domestic brokerage Motilal Oswal, the benchmark index Nifty touched a fresh high of 18,816 levels, ending over 4 per cent higher month-on-month (MoM) at 18,758 in November 2022.
The 30-share BSE benchmark ended 208.24 points or 0.33 per cent lower at 62,626.36. The broader NSE Nifty declined 58.30 points or 0.31 per cent to end at 18,642.75.

Nifty, Sensex, top gainers, top losers Losers, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra: The Indian equity benchmark indices ended on a flat note on Monday, with the BSE Sensex falling nearly 34 points, recording its second day of decline after an eight-day rally.
