Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.52 %, at 3,020.46 points. The smaller Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.42 % higher at 10,612.21 points, Xinhua news agency reported.

Asian share markets opened higher on Thursday after US economic data that took some of the sting out of Brexit scare. The Australian dollar however slipped as the country’s triple A credit rating came under threat.
