Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday laid the foundation stones for various projects worth Rs 1,535 crore for tribal development. He also launched a portal on the Forest Rights Act as the state celebrated 'Jana Jatiya Gourav Divas' on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda.

CM Majhi also stated that the BJP government aims to meet the hopes and dreams of Odisha's 4.5 crore people.
Stating that Odisha has set a target to make Odisha a USD 500 Billion economy by 2036 and a USD 1.5 trillion economy by 2047, the chief minister said the IT/ITeS and the larger services sector will play a critical role in helping us achieve these goals.
