Xiaomi Mi A3 priced at around Rs 19,000 on launch; here is what you get

Xiaomi has launched Mi A3 as its latest Android One offering with vanilla Android experience. The smartphone is a successor to the Mi A2 which was launched last year and comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and a triple rear camera setup sporting a 48-megapixel primary sensor. On the front, the Mi A3 gets a 32-megapixel selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The specifications of the Mi A3 are similar to the Mi CC9e which was launched in China this month, only with the addition of stock Android. As of now, the Mi A3 has been launched in Spain.

Mi A3 specifications and features

The Mi A 3 sports a 6.08-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) AMOLED display with a waterdrop-style notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and comes with the in-display fingerprint sensor. At the back, you get a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. The smartphone also has the 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front.

The smartphone has been launched in Spain in two storage variants - 64GB and 128GB storage - both expandable via microSD card. The phone comes in "Not Just Blue", "More Than White", and "Kind of Gray" colour options. The phone packs a 4,030mAh battery. It will go on sale from July 24 onward.

Mi A3 price

In Spain, the Mi A3 price has been set at EUR 249 (roughly Rs 19,200) for the 64GB storage variant, while the 128GB storage option is priced at EUR 279 (roughly Rs. 21,500). There is no word on when the smartphone will be launched outside Europe or how much it will cost in other countries.
