WhatsApp is set to bring another feature to the platform, improving the user experience for ever. The platform is reportedly working on multi-device support – a feature that users have been waiting for a long time now. As the name suggests, the new feature will allow users to access their accounts on different devices simultaneously. The highlight is that you won’t be logged out from the first device.
As of now, WhatsApp doesn’t allow you to do that. As soon as users log into the second device, they are logged out of the first device.
According to WhatsApp tracker WABetainfo, WhatsApp has begun internal testing of the long-awaited multi-devices feature. The website, however, cautions that there is no fixed timeline for the launch of the feature.

“It's not available yet and there isn't a release date: it could be next two months, four months, six months… but it's really positive that they have started to test it on the whole,” said Wabetainfo in a tweet last week.
Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on WhatsApp for iPad. The iPad support has been another feature that has been in the works for more than two years. With Apple splitting the iPad OS as an independent platform, a standalone WhatsApp app seems more likely to happen sooner or later.
Meanwhile, a researcher has warned about a new WhatsApp feature which is called 'Click to Chat' and reportedly puts mobile numbers at risk.
The researcher claims that the numbers are indexed by Google Search which allows anyone to find them. Basically, your numbers can appear on a simple Google search.
A bug-bounty hunter called Athul Jayaram was quoted by Threatpost stating that a bug in WhatsApp’s Click to Chat feature pushed the phone numbers into risky territory and in turn putting the social messaging site at a risk by allowing Google Search to index them. This allows anyone to search your number, putting privacy at risk.
The Click to Chat feature allow users to chat with another WhatsApp user without having to save their number. This allows certain websites to chat with their visitors without having to save the phone number.
