WhatsApp update: New feature released for users | Read all about it

WhatsApp new cart feature: In order to make the WhatsApp platform even more interesting for shoppers, the messenger has introduced a new feature —carts. This new feature enables shoppers with easy shopping experience.  

The Whatsapp "Add to Cart" feature will now enable users to browse through catalogue and add multiple products from one merchant. They can then share it with the seller to place the order directly through the app. It also allows you to remove items from your cart. The Carts feature comes within days after the Shopping button was added to WhatsApp in November for both iOS and Android users.  

As per reports, this new Whatsapp update has been put on trial mode for Android users. However, it will be updated for iPhone users in coming days.    

WhatsApp Mute Video feature  

Asp per WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo, users will also get mute video feature soon. This feature was seen in latest Beta update. WABetaInfo has also shared its screenshot. Screenshot shows apart from video trimming option, there is also a mute video option. It will allow users to put the video on mute mode before sharing it further.  

WhatsApp Read Later  

Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on another feature on WhatsApp iPhone version. This new feature will be called Read Later. This new feature will be modified version of Archived Chat feature. This new feature has been said to be WhatsApp 2.20.130.16 Beta for iPhone.  As per the screenshot shared by the WABetaInfo, ‘Read Later’ feature will help users in archiving chat. However, the user will not receive any notification for the same. Whatsapp users will also be provided with an additional button to select multiple chats, which could be archived.
