Sara Ali Khan to endorse Vivo's new smartphone series

Now a days, Smartphone brands are associating with Bollywood and cricket stars in order to market their products to youth. Vivo India has also announced its brand association with the Bollywood diva Sara Ali Khan for its upcoming S series that focuses on Design and Camera. The Bollywood fashionista who has made a mark with her uniquely expressive and inventive style will also feature in company’s new TVC on S series in early August.

Commenting on the association Sara Ali Khan said, “I am pleased to associate with Vivo for its upcoming S1 as part of their new ‘S’-series. The smartphone’s contemporary design and beautiful colour will surely become a trendsetter. For me, camera and design are the two most important aspects whenever I buy a smartphone. I am extremely excited to be associated with a brand that resonates with me.”

Vivo is popular for multiple initiatives and have caught the smartphone industry by surprise earlier also. Surprises like signing Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador, title sponsorship of big-ticket properties like IPL and Vivo PKL, partnership with The PUBG Mobile Open Club 2019 tournament and innovative product integration in key TV properties like ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and ‘Big Boss' (Tamil) are some of the famous initiatives from the company.

The smartphone brand has recently registered a phenomenal growth of 119 percent Y-o-Y (as per Counterpoint Q1, 2019 Report), according to company.
