Reliance Jio offers two new long term plans for JioPhone users with unlimited calling, data benefits
The new Rs 297 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 84 days. Under this plan, Reliance Jio offers 0.5GB data per day or a total of 42GB data for the entire validity period.
Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries' telecom arm Reliance Jio has come up with two new long term prepaid plans for JioPhone users. Till now, JioPhone users had access to only monthly prepaid plans but the new packs offer longer validity of around three and six months, respectively. The plans have been priced at Rs Rs 297 and Rs 594 and are only available for JioPhone users. The telecom operator has also made it clear that the plans will only work if the SIM is in a JioPhone and this includes both the original JioPhone as well as JioPhone 2.
The new Rs 297 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 84 days. Under this plan, Reliance Jio offers 0.5GB data per day or a total of 42GB data for the entire validity period. If the users exhaust the daily limit, the speed will be reduced to 64 Kbps. The plan also offers unlimited voice calls, a total of 300 SMS and free access to Jio’s suite of apps like My Jio, Jio Money, Jio TV, Jio Music, and more.
The second plan has been priced at Rs 594 and is valid for 168 days. It offers 84GB data at 0.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, 300 SMS, and a complimentary subscription to Jio apps are bundled as well.

Apart from this new plans, the customers already had access to three monthly packs of Rs 49, Rs 99, and Rs 153. All these plans are designed specifically for JioPhone users and come with a validity of 28 days. The Rs 49 pack gives users a total of 1GB data, while Jio’s Rs 99 and Rs 153 packs offer 14GB and 42GB data respectively.
