New iPhone model, iPhone X successor and iPhone X Plus images leaked? Check this out

US technology major Apple is widely rumoured to be preparing for the launch of three new iPhones later this year. Citing a leaked image, a Daily Mail report said that glass panels will be used in the yet-to-be-released iPhone models, which may have panels for 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch phones.

The report also refers to Twitter leaker Ben Geskin, who shared images of upcoming Apple handsets in the past. The leaked photo reportedly shows the front screens for a base iPhone model, the iPhone X successor and an iPhone X Plus. This speculation is based on earlier reports that Apple will release three new models this year and that they all include the edge-to-edge screen and notch design, the report adds. 
 
One model is expected to feature a liquid crystal display (LCD), instead of the higher-end organic LED display used in the iPhone X. That will allow Apple to offer the LCD model at a cheaper price point. 
 
In the leaked photo, the 5.8-inch model has reportedly thicker bezels than the other two versions, making it likely that that will feature an LCD screen. 
 
The technology firm isn't slated to release the latest iPhone until later this year at its annual September event, the report said, adding if Apple decides to release 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch models, they will be Apple's largest iPhones yet, and the new devices would reportedly be larger than the iPhone X's 5.8-inch display.

The report also refers to longtime Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, who also believes a 6.1-inch iPhone may be on the way that has many of the same features as the iPhone X but features a cheaper price point.
 
Apple watchers is also expected to release a refreshed iPhone SE. Images leaked last month reportedly show an iPhone SE 2, with a notch design that's similar to the one on the iPhone X.

The report also stated that the iPhone SE 2 could also get advanced features like facial recognition or augmented reality technology.
