WhatsApp has recently rolled out WhatsApp Business for iOS, and beta users can download it for free. The app is to help small businessmen interact with customers and reach them via this messaging platform. It is basically an ad-free real-time cross-platform app, which is "a simple, secure and reliable way for businesses to connect with their customers", said WABetInfo. This connection with customers is expected to generate returns for the users. To start getting the benefits, users first need to accept their Terms of Services.
Notably, unlike the standard Whatsapp, this new WhatsApp Business app is a paid account wherein you need to pay on sending and receiving messages, and it also allows users to customize their business profiles and configure business hours with other options. In short, you can even keep your business open 24/7 and otherwise fill customers' needs in very way! A money-making proposition that also puts these businessmen on the digitally connected global map. The potential is definitely massive for gung-ho businessmen to benefit.
Although WhatsApp Business was announced in September 2017, it was rolled out for Android users in January 2018, and almost a year after it is now available in beta on Apple iOS platform. However, this app on the iOS platform is not yet officially announced, but WABetaInfo stated that it is available in Mexico. Users from Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina have reportedly confirmed the availability of this app.
According to WABetaInfo, you need to accept their terms of services to use WhatsApp Business, adding "If you tap Agree & Continue, WhatsApp will ask if you want to migrate your chat history from WhatsApp Messenger to WhatsApp Business."
It further stated that "you can choose to migrate your chat history, all chats from WhatsApp Messenger will be transferred to WhatsApp Business, and you will be logged out from WhatsApp Messenger, otherwise you can configure WhatsApp Business using a different number. If you want to migrate your chat history, please back up it in WhatsApp Messenger, because we cannot foresee any possible error!"
After the configuration, you can create your Business Profile, selecting a Business category.
The new app has also introduced greeting message feature, which is "one of the first messaging tool implemented in WhatsApp Business, obviously already available in WhatsApp Business for Android."

When you enable the Greeting Message feature, an automatic message is sent to new customers or after 14 days of no activity. It’s possible to customize this message and its recipients, it added.
