iQOO Z9x launch date in India: iQOO has officially confirmed the launch date of its next smartphone - iQOO Z9x - in India. According to iQoo India CEO Nipun Marya, the launch is scheduled for May 16.  

"Ready, set, #iQOOZ9x. Fully loaded for a full day of action!#FullDayFullyLoaded," Marya said while sharing an image of the smartphone on microblogging site X, formerly Twitter. 

iQOO Z9x 5G Expected Features

The iQOO Z9x 5G is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Reports suggest this smartphone will be available in three RAM and storage variants in India.

In terms of display, the smartphone is expected to come with a 6.72-inch FullHD+ display. While the display will support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, the peak brightness offered by the device is 1,000 nits. This means users are expected to have a smooth visual experience and good outdoor visibility.

In terms of camera, the iQOO Z9x 5G is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor. It may be accompanied by a 2MP depth lens. For selfies, the smartphone is expected to have an 8MP camera on the front.

One of the key highlights of the device is going to be its battery as reports suggest that the smartphone may come with a 6,000mAh battery. Moreover, the device will support 44W fast charging.

Among other features could be an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It may have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers.

iQOO Z9x 5G Availability and Price (Expected)

The device is expected to be available in three RAM and storage variants - 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. They are expected to be priced at Rs 13,499, 14,499 and 16,499.
