iQOO Z9 5G launch date in India: Just after the launch of iQOO Neo9 Pro, iQOO has announced the launch date of its other smartphone - iQOO Z9 5G. The launch date has been announced by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya.
"Calling all #GenZ fam! #FullyLoaded #iQOOZ9 in the house! Guess the processor name and tag 5 homies to win some exciting #iQOO goodies," Marya said in a post on X while sharing an image of the device along with the launch date - which is March 12.
For the uninitiated, iQOO has already confirmed that iQOO Z9 will be launched with MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. The next smartphone under the Z Series will be available on the e-commerce platform Amazon.
According to the image shared, the smartphone will come with a dual-rear camera setup. Reports have confirmed that the primary camera will be a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor
The primary sensor is expected to feature optical image stabilisation (OIS). According to the company, the latest entrant in the Z-Series will be the first smartphone in its segment to feature a Sony IMX882 sensor.
Reports suggest that the smartphone will be equipped with 8GB of RAM and run on Android 14 out of the box.
The iQOO Z9, which is the successor of the iQOO Z7, may come with a Full HD+ AMOLED display. It is expected to support a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
