In Twitter vs Threads, Elon Musk takes a dig at Mark Zuckerberg and leaves netizens puzzled yet again
Taking a jibe at Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk wrote, "Zuck is a cuck." This came after Meta added the "Threads" application to Instagram. Twitter rival Threads is inching closer to 100 million users since its release on July 6.
In what may appear to be a step closer to yet another round of war of words between billionaire Elon Musk and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the owners of two social media giants have indulged in veiled attacks. Taking a jibe at Zuckerberg on Sunday, Musk wrote, "Zuck is a cuck”. This came after Meta added the "Threads" application to Instagram, which is being said to be an alleged clone of Twitter.

Musk's latest jibe on Meta owner was made in response to the screen grab of a Threads post by fast-food restaurants chain Wendy's. The fast food chain attempted to knock Musk out and tagged Zuckerberg, writing, "Hey Zuck, you should go to space just to really make him laugh."
What took an interesting turn was Zuckerberg's laughing emoji as a reply to Wendy's post, which apparently infuriated the Twitter owner.
Elon Musk's 'cuck' jibe at Zuckerberg leaves users in splits
Musk's latest jibe at Meta owner attracted a lot of reactions from the users on Twitter. One user took to the comment section and compared Elon Musk to Hero. "Elon = Hero," he tweeted. Another user slammed Musk for charging money for free speech. "Free speech for $8. I think people have forgotten what the definition of free is," he wrote.
A third comment read, "Really interesting why they picked blue check marks for verification. I mean, everyone knew it was going to be a rip-off app. They couldn't even come up with an original verification icon or at the very least change the color?"

Twitter has claimed that Zuckerberg engaged in systematic theft of Twitter's trade secrets and other intellectual property. Musk's legal team sent a notice to Meta on July 5, threatening to sue the company for stealing Twitter's trade secrets by hiring former employees.
Musk-Zuckerberg cage fight
This, however, isn't the only time that Musk and Zuckerberg have indulged in these kinds of conversations. Another interesting incident that happened recently saw Musk challenging Zuckerberg to a fight, and Zuckerberg replied, "Send me a location."
Musk responded by replying, “Vegas Octagon” on Twitter. The Octagon is the venue and fenced-in area where Ultimate Fighting Championship bouts take place in Las Vegas.
Jack Dorsey dubs Instagram's Threads a 'Twitter clone.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, said that Zuckerberg's new application, Threads, is a "Twitter clone".
“We wanted flying cars, instead we got 7 Twitter clones," Dorsey Tweeted

The remark was aimed at Threads. Earlier, Elon Musk also said that competition is fine but cheating is not. On the other hand, Threads has become one of the fastest growing apps inching closer to reach the 100 million subscriber mark only within a few days of its release.
