COVID-19 Vaccines: How to update vaccination status on Aarogya Setu app? Check simple steps here
Aarogya Setu app has added a new feature that shows whether a person has taken the COVID-19 vaccination jab or not. So, if one has taken the first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, one has to update one's vaccination status by heading over the Aarogya Setu app.
Aarogya Setu App Latest Update: At present, the COVID-19 vaccination drive in the country. As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), so far, 22.41 crore vaccine doses have been administered under the nationwide vaccination drive. Now, there is an important update for the people who have taken one or both the doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to a BGR India report, Aarogya Setu app has added a new feature that shows whether a person has taken the COVID-19 vaccination jab or not. So, if one has taken the first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, one has to update one's vaccination status by heading over the Aarogya Setu app. Eventually, this feature of the Aarogya Setu app will help one while travelling in future.
This new feature of Aarogya Setu app will show one 'partially vaccinated' after one receives the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Once, a beneficiary receives both the doses of COVID-19 vaccine, the status will change to 'Vaccinated'. One has to follow some simple steps in order to update the vaccination status on the Aarogya Setu app. They are as follows:
Step1: In order to update the COVID-19 vaccination status on the Aarogya Setu app, one has to download the app in the first place on one's smartphone. This app can be downloaded easily from Google Play store for Android users and from Apple App Store for iPhone users.
Step 2: After installation, the user will have to take a self-assessment on the Aarogya Setu app. Now, once the self-assessment is taken Aarogya Setu users will get the option to update the vaccination status
Step 3: The user will then need to take the revised self-assessment. On taking the self-assessment, users who have taken one dose will get the 'partially vaccinated' status and the ones who have taken both doses will get 'vaccinated” status'
Now, one must note that the status is based on the declarations provided by the person during the self-assessment.
The users of the Aarogya Setu app must note that the app will show a single blue border with the status 'partially vaccinated'. Again, if a person has taken both the COVID-19 vaccine shots, the app will show double blue border with status 'vaccinated'.
