Vivo Y73 2021 India launch timeline LEAKED? Check expected price, specifications, features and more

Vivo Y73 India launch: Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is reportedly preparing for a launch of a new mid-range smartphone under its Y series in India. As per the report, the upcoming Vivo Y73 2021 will launch this month itself in India.

According to an exclusive report from MySmartPrice, the upcoming Vivo Y73 2021 edition will pack a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC under the hood. The Y73 will also feature an AMOLED display and a 64MP triple-rear camera setup. Vivo Y73 2021 India may carry a price tag of Rs 20,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

The Vivo Y73 is said to come with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution, 408PPI pixel density, and HDR10 support. The display will also house an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and a waterdrop notch. The smartphone sport an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, built on a 12nm fabrication process.

The smartphone will retail in up to 8GB RAM and up to 128Gb storage. This will also have support for 3GB extended RAM. The handset will also have a dedicated microSD card slot to expand the storage further. The Vivo Y73 will boot Android 11 based FuntouchOS 11, the report said.

"The smartphone will offer a 64MP triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The camera module on the Y73 will be similar to other recent Vivo smartphones. The primary 64MP sensor will have f/1.79 aperture and will be accompanied by a 2MP Macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor, both of which will have f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it will have a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls," MySmartPrice report said.

The Vivo Y73 will be equipped with a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. On the connectivity side, the smartphone will support 4G, Dual Sim, 2.4/5GHz WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0. The device will measure 161.24×74.37×7.38mm, and will weigh 170grams.
