Vivo X80, Vivo X80 Pro India launch this week - Check expected price, specifications and other details

Vivo X80, Vivo X80 Pro India launch: Global technology brand Vivo is all set to launch its latest flagship Vivo X80 series smartphones -- Vivo X80, Vivo X80 Pro in India on May 18 (Wednesday) at 12:00 PM. Both the smartphones will be available on Flipkart after the launch and the microsite for the same is now live on the e-commerce platform.

In China, the Vivo X80 Pro and the Vivo X80 devices were launched and globally. The Vivo X80 Pro was launched just a couple of days back. Globally, Vivo X80 smartphone single 12GB + 256GB storage model, is priced at RM 3,499 (around Rs 61,700). Vivo X80 Pro will be available in a 12GB RAM option as well and the storage model is up to 512GB and the price is RM 4,999 ( around Rs 88,100).

Both the devices are expected to come in similar price range in India. However, this is just a speculation and readers are advised to wait for official announcement.

In china, the Vivo X80 sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It is powered by Dimensity 9000 SoC and will be available in India with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB  8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and the other in 12GB of RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

It features a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP (telephoto lens. The X80 supports up to 20x digital zoom. For selfies, there is a 32MP snapper on the front. The smartphone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.

On the other hand, Vivo X80 Pro comes with a 120Hz 6.78-inch E5 2K AMOLED display. Under the hood, the phone comes in two processor options in China 一 MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The company is yet to announce if both will be made available in India as well.

The Vivo X80 Pro comes with a quad rear camera with a 50MP GNV main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, a 12MP portrait camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens. To the front, the device offers a 32MP selfie camera. The camera setup has been engineered by Zeiss optics.
