Samsung Galaxy S22 FE, Galaxy S23 may not come with MediaTek chipset, says report
Although Samsung may still have future plans or could even be mulling over this decision right now.
Smartphone brand Samsung does not have any plans of shifting its flagship line-up of smartphones away from its proprietary Exynos and Qualcomm's Snapdragon SoCs, news agency IANS reported.
"According to GizmoChina, some rumours had recently surfaced, which had hinted at the South Korean tech giant possibly moving to MediaTek chipsets. These Dimensity SoCs would reportedly power its upcoming Galaxy S22 FE model," the report further added.

The Korean media has also added that the next generation Galaxy S23 series might also make the shift to MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, this report said.
Since these are flagship models, the processors would be within the Dimensity 9000 series, the report had said earlier. However, a new tweet has suggested otherwise. According to a prominent tipster, users might not be seeing a MediaTek Dimensity powered premium Samsung phone for a while now.
In other words, users can still expect the brand to ship the Galaxy S22 FE or the Galaxy S23 lineup with either the Snapdragon or Exynos chipsets, depending on the market. Although Samsung may still have future plans or could even be mulling over this decision right now, the report said.
In another news, Samsung today announced that the camera of Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G has received the highest recognition from the Valued Camera eXperience (VCX) Forum, a non-profit organization that assesses the image quality of cameras in mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, computers, notebooks, drones, among others.
Also, in India, Samsung has introduced its new flagship global citizenship program Samsung Smart School at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) schools across the country. The CSR program, part of the Samsung vision of ‘Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People’, aims to create young leaders of tomorrow by giving less-privileged students in India access to the benefits of digital education and its own transformative innovations.
The program is being piloted at 10 JNV schools in its first year. Samsung Smart School have been set up in JNV schools in Varanasi, Gwalior, Raipur, Udaipur, Kangra, Sambhalpur, Faridabad, Dehradun, Patna and Dhanbad. Many of these schools are located in remote rural districts around these cities.
