The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra features a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display, with a refresh rate up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 2600nits. The device stands out as a content-viewing machine. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to boast a similar 6.8-inch display.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
On the camera front, the Galaxy S24 features an impressive 200MP main sensor, complemented by a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to have the ultrawide camera upgraded to 50MP from 12MP. Additionally, speculations suggest that telephoto lens may provide fixed focal lengths.
While Galaxy S24 Ultra users have flagged concerns regarding its flat design and bulky build, the Galaxy S25 Ultra may be launched with slimmer profile, curved edges, and a more subtle finish. However, signature design elements, including quad-camera layout, titanium frame, S-pen, are expected to remain the same.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to pack the same battery as the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Nevertheless, upgraded processor and RAM are likely to make the newer launch more efficient in terms of battery life.
