Oppo Reno 6 series India launch: After successfully launching its flagship Reno 5 series smartphones in India, the Chinese smartphone brand Oppo is all set to unveil its Reno 6 series in India just a month after its launch in China. The Reno 6 series will succeed the Reno 5 series with two models initially.

The Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro 5G will be sold via e-commerce platform Flipkart. The company teased the images of the upcoming Reno series on Flipkart with a "coming soon" message. However, no official launch date for these smartphones have been announced yet.

Last month, Oppo launched the Reno 6 series in China, comprising of three phones – Reno 6 5G, Reno 6 Pro 5G, and Reno 6 Pro+ 5G. The most peculiar Reno 6 model in the lineup.

The Reno 6 starts at CNY 2,799 (around Rs 32,000) for the 8GB+128GB trim while the 12GB+ 256GB flavour will be available for CNY 3,199 (around Rs 36,849). The smartphone relies on a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip and boots with ColorOS 11.3 based on the Android 11.

Earlier in January,  the company launched the much-awaited Reno 5 Pro 5G smartphone in India with industry-first AI Highlight Video, MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset and 3D Borderless Sense Screen.

The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G comes with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, 2MP depth and 2MP macro lenses. The device also has a 32MP selfie camera inside the punch-hole on the front.

Also, Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G takes portrait video quality to the next level with an industry-first AI Highlight Video feature on both front and rear cameras. The device also features an excellent Ultra Steady Video 3.0 for upgraded image stabilization for a broader range of scenarios, whether that be running, jumping, or even doing extreme sports.
