Oneplus Nord 2 5G Launch Date: Those who are 'nerd' about the 'Nord' have to wait for a little more time for the launch of OnePlus Nord 2 5G in India. Oneplus has revealed some of the features of the upcoming smartphone from its official Twitter handle. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be launched in India on July 22, 2021.

On July 12, 2021, Oneplus India has tweeted from its official Twitter handle about the display of OnePlus Nord 2 5G. It tweeted, "Nord 2 comes with a 6.43 inch 90 Hz Fluid AMOLED display that swipes so smooth you’ll think your fingers are dancing ballet. And it’s HDR 10+ certified."

The global smartphone brand has also revealed about the major Android updates and security updates for the new launch from its official Twitter handle. The tweet reads, "Take a deep breath and chill, worrywarts. OnePlus Nord 2 comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 11 backed up by 2 major Android updates and 3 years of security updates."

Furthermore, Oneplus has joined hands with chip-maker MediaTek for Dimensity 1200-AI, which will be featured in the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone. As per an IANS report, in order to highlight the the new AI capabilities of the chipset, OnePlus and MediaTek have chosen the name Dimensity 1200-AI to distinguish it from the standard Dimensity 1200.

The upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 5G will integrate the following AI-enabled advancements -- AI-assisted photography for superior imaging, display enhancements for a top-ranking user experience, better response times for faster and smoother gaming and much more.

As per the IANS report, JC Hsu, Corporate VP and GM of MediaTek's Wireless Communications Business Unit said, "The Dimensity 1200-AI is the first example of MediaTek's Dimensity Open Resource Architecture initiative, optimizing the powerful Dimensity 1200 5G chipset to deliver a customized experience for OnePlus users." 

In addition to the improved camera and display technologies, the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI also provides a superior gaming experience. The users take advantage of the device's low latency, improved heat management, and efficient power consumption to the game for longer. 

 The OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be launched in Indian on July 22, 2021.
